Jeffrey Purdy has more than three decades of experience in transportation and systems engineering, program management, strategic planning and capital programming. Throughout his career he has embraced innovative technologies as he has assisted federal, state, and local transportation and public safety agencies implement advanced technology to achieve organizational missions, goals, and objectives. He has collaborated with executive managers at transportation agencies across the nation, to develop policies, implement best practices, and design, construct and operate infrastructure that drives organizational change, improves operational efficiency and advances safety for the agency as well as the public.
Mr. Purdy joined Intelligent Infrastructure Systems assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2014. As the firm’s COO, Mr. Purdy is responsible for the firm’s financial management strategy and leads the development and implementation of the firm’s strategic goals and objectives. He is also responsible for the overall and day-to-day management of the organization.
Mr. Purdy earned an MS degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration on Transportation Systems from the University of Virginia and a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states including Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Transportation Research Board, and International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association.
