Mr. Vykuntam is an Associate Engineer with Intelligent Infrastructure Systems where he focuses his efforts on Finite Element analysis, live load testing, nondestructive evaluation, data collection, and data analysis.
Mr. Vykuntam received a B. Tech in Civil Engineering from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (Bengaluru, India) and his MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Structural) from Rutgers University. Pavan’s Graduate Studies Research Project addressed Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) with an in-depth Study on NEXT Beams which provide significant cost savings over the use of traditional adjacent box beams. His study also showed that using ABC techniques, bridge replacement can take place in 48-72 hours and reduces road closures, traffic delays, and project costs.
