Structural Health Monitoring System for Henry Hudson Bridge

Intelligent Infrastructure Systems personnel were called to the Henry Hudson Bridge following concerns over the in-service performance of new light fixtures installed on the bridge as part of an overall improvement project. The effort included the design and installation of a temporary monitoring system aimed at capturing ambient accelerations and strains due to traffic and wind inputs on the bridge. Personnel then processed and interpreted the measured responses and created a report delivered to the client detailing findings.
